As a student blogger at Narrows High School, you are expected to follow these blogging guidelines:
1. Only post things you would want everyone in your life–school, home, church, your family, other countries–to know.
2. Keep personal information personal, always, always, always. Don’t post your name, address, phone numbers, email, or pictures of yourself.
3. Make sure your comments are constructive, polite, purposeful, and relate to the content of post.
4. Comment on posts the way you would like people to comment to you.
5. Know with whom you are communicating.
5. Always remember that you represent Narrows High School.
7. Use appropriate language and proper grammar and spelling.
8. Only post information that you can verify with clear facts that you know are true.
9. Anytime you use media (audio, video, images, written work), from another source, be sure to correctly cite the creator of the work.

THINK BEFORE YOU POST. Ask yourself:
- Is this post something I want everyone in the entire world to see or know about me?
- What are the possible consequences of this post? Am I gossipping, bullying, or being immature and inappropriate? Will I hurt or offend someone?
- Who will see this post and how will they interpret my words? Do my words really communicate an appropriate tone?
- Does my post add anything meaningful to the blog discussion?
- Would I want somebody to say this to my face?
- Am I representing myself and Narrows High School in a positive way?
